Preparation Before The Tan Clients should shower and exfoliate thoroughly the day before or the day of tanning. It is most advisable to start exfoliating 3 days prior to treatment. Do Not apply moisturisers, Deodorant, Body Sprays etc as this will act as a barrier or react to the tan. Remove all Jewellery if possible. Shave a day before your tanning treatment. Wax at least 2 days prior, this will allow pores time to close. Please attend wearing loose clothing and flip-flops
Developing The Tan Bali Sun Spray Tans take 5-8 hours depending on your skin to develop its full colour. Showering, bathing, Swimming and vigorous exercise must be avoided for at least 5 hours after application of tan. There will be some discolouration in the water when you shower or bathe after your tan, this is normal and will not effect your tan.
Clothing Clients may choose to wear a bikini or bra for full body tans. Bali Sun advises that colour may be difficult to remove from some materials however Bali Sun will wash out of natural fabrics.
Leaving The Salon Clients are advised to wear dark loose fitting clothing when leaving the salon. We will take the greatest of care on application of your tan, however, we cannot take total responsibility that your tan will be totally even throughtout your body.
Maintaining Your Tan With regular daily application of Bali Sun Tan Rejuvenator your tan will last between 7 - 10days, depending on your skin type.
Sunscreen Bali Sun Spray Tan offers almost no protection from the sun. High factor sunscreens and moisturisers are always recommended when in the sun.
Evolution Tan Bali Sun Evolution Tan is the next generation in Spray Tans and only recommended for people that want a very dark tan.
Contra Indications Bali sun Tropical and Evolution Tans should not be offered to clients during the first trimester of Pregnancy, or to Clients who have ecezema, cuts, psoriasis, abrasions.
